titleOfInvention | Rubber composition |
abstract | PURPOSE: To provide a rubber composition for tire tread, which can give a tire tread of an improved coefficient of friction, by adding a specified amount of tung oil based on glycerides of eleostearic acid and oleic acid to a diene rubber. n CONSTITUTION: This rubber composition for tire tread is produced by adding 5W20pts.wt. tung oil based on glycerides of eleostearic acid and oleic acid to 100pts.wt. diene rubber (e.g., butadiene/styrene copolymer rubber or natural rubber). By using the obtained composition, the coefficient of friction between the tire treated surface and the road surface, which is necessary for running, can be improved, and the heat build-up during running can be controlled. Further, this rubber composition is effective in preventing itself from worsening in an ability of dispersing carbon black and in roll workability in a pretreatment step. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
