titleOfInvention | Clock skew adjusting circuit |
abstract | PURPOSE: To reduce skew by measuring the delay time per one active circuit element in each LSI and determining the number of stages of active circuit elements of a control circuit from a clock input part to an internal register in accordance with the measured delay time. n CONSTITUTION: A clock skew adjusting circuit is provided with LSIs 10 and 20, and the LSI 10 consists of a ring oscillator 12, an AND circuit means 13, a counting control circuit 14, and a control circuit 18. The control circuit 18 is provided between a clock input part T 10 into which a clock signal CLK from the external is taken and an internal register 16, and the number of stages of plural gates G 11 WG 17 as series active circuit elements is determined in accordance with the switching control signal from the counting control circuit 14. The LSI 20 is constituted in the same manner as the LSI 10. Thus, delay times of LSIs 10 and 20 are fixed to reduce the clock skew. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
