abstract |
PURPOSE:To obtain a lens having high surface accuracy and excellent optical properties by adding an internal parting material to a mixture composed of an isocyanate compd. and hydroxy compd., either of which contains an unsatd. bond, then subjecting the mixture to casting polymn. CONSTITUTION:The liquid mixture prepd. by adding the internal parting mate rial, for example, dodecanol acid phosphate to the previously prepd. liquid mixture consisting of the isocyanate compd. and the hydroxyl compd. either of which contains the unsatd. bond, then adding an NCO-OH reaction catalyst and polymn. initiator thereto is cast into a casting mold constituted of a glass mold and polyethylene gasket and is subjected to the casting polymn. The molding is gradually cooled upon ending of the polymn. and is taken out of a heating vessel. The lens is easily parted from the mold after the polymn. The resulted lens has the good surface accuracy and is colorless and transparent. |
