abstract NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [any one of X, Y and Z represents S and the others represent C; E and G represent O or S; R 1 represents substituted pieridino or substituted 1-piprazinyl (substituent is aralkyl, aralkyloxy, etc.); R 2 and R 3 represent H, lower alkyl, aryl or halogen; R 4 represents H, lower alkyl or acyl; A represents 1W4C alkylene] and salt thereof. n EXAMPLE: 3-2-[ 4-( 4-Fluorobenzoyl )-1-piperidinyl]ethyl -2,4-(1H,3H)-thieno-[3,2- d]pyrimidindione. n USE: The compound has an antihistamine, antiserotonin, antiallergic and antiasthematic action without toxicity. n PREPARATION: A thienopyrimidine derivative expressed by formula II is reacted with piperidine or a derivative thereof expressed by the formula HR 1 under heating, in the presence of a solvent when the occasion demands, and N atom in the pyrimidine ring is modified with a group R 4 if desired. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
