abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title densely green fluophor free from reduction in luminescent power output, by covering the surface of green luminescent fluophor granules with TiO 2 -CoO-NiO-Li 2 O-based blue-green pigment granules. n CONSTITUTION: The objective fluophor can be obtained by covering (A) the surface of green luminescent fluophor granules consisting of a (oxy)sulfide fluophor with a median granular size of 3-12μm with (B) 0.01-5wt.% based on the component A, of TiO 2 -CoO-NiO-Li 2 O-based blue-green pigment granules with a median size of 0.01-2μm. The sulfide fluophor of the component A is ZnS or (ZnCd)S as the matrix with Cu and/or Au as the activator, whereas the oxysulfide fluophor of the component A is Ln 2 O 2 S(Ln is Y, La, Gd or Lu) as the matrix with Tb as the activator and Dy, Ce, Pr or Tm as the coactivator. The composition ratio of the component B is such as to be 58.5-71.5wt.% of TiO 2 , 16.2-19.8wt.% of CoO, 9-11wt.% of NiO and 6.3-7.7wt.% of Li 2 O. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
