titleOfInvention Production of dihydroxyacetone dimer
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain dihydroxyacetone dimer which is used as a starting substance for medicines through a simple process by keeping crystals of dihydroxyacetone monomer or a mixture thereof with dimer crystals in a certain temperature range near room temperature. n CONSTITUTION: The crystals of dihydroxyacetone monomer or a mixture thereof with dimer crystals are kept at 0W40°C to convert the monomer crystals into the dimer crystals completely within at least 1,000hr. The atmosphere on its storage may be air or other inert gases, but the storage in high humidity is not desired. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
