CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive body has the bisazo compd. expressed by formula I. In formula, R1 and R2 respectively denote a hydrogen atom., halogen atom., alkyl group, alkoxy group, nitro group, cyano group or hydroxy group. Z denotes an atom. group necessary for forming a carbocyclic arom. ring or heterocyclic arom. ring and X denotes an atom. group necessary for forming a heterocyclic arom. ring having formula II or formula III as a part thereof cooperatively with the adjacent benzene ring. (m) and (n) denote 1, 2 or 3 integer. The photosensitive body which is excellent in the sensitivity, the durability, the combination with a wide range of the carrier transfer materials, etc., is thereby obtd.
