titleOfInvention Treatment of corrosive waste
abstract PURPOSE: To obviate delay in reaction in a treatment drum and to shorten the time required for drying by injecting carbon dioxide or air into the muddy treatment matter in a hermetic secondary reaction tank and agitating said matter by bubbling. n CONSTITUTION: The air in the atm. or the like is injected by a blower 9 through a pipe 10 into the muddy treatment matter 8 housed in the secondary reaction tank 7 in the treatment of hydrous corrosive waste such as domestic animal dung by adding and mixing calcium oxide to and with said waste. The muddy treatment matter 8 is then agitated by the bubbling, by which the muddy treatment matter 8 is rapidly brought into secondary reaction with the carbon dioxide in the air. The gaseous ammonia and removed moisture generated from the treatment matter are released after deodorization through a blower 3 from a pipeline 12. The secondary reaction is thus accelerated and the moisture in the muddy treatment matter is decreased. As a result, the drying time in a drying house 6 is shortened and the smells in the house are removed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
