titleOfInvention Novel 2-chloronitrophenyl phosphate and method for measuring phosphatase activity using said phosphate
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (A is K, ammonium, ethyl-2-hydroxyethylammonium, 1,1-dimethyl-2-bydroxpthylammonium, etc.). n USE: A substrate for measuring phosphatase activity and photoreceptor participating in photochemical reaction excellent in preservation and thermal stability and further solubility in water. n PREPARATION: For example, 2-chloronitrophenol expressed by formula II is dissolved in a solvent, such as benzene, and reacted with phosphorus oxychloride in the presence of a deacidifying agent, such as pyridine, to provide a phenyl phosphoryl chloride derivative expressed by formula III, which is then hydrolyzed. The resultant phenyl pbosphate derivative expressed by formula IV is subjected to reaction for forming a salt with the corresponding base or salts. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
