titleOfInvention Steering angle controller
abstract PURPOSE:To enable early detection of abnormal conditions by providing a fail safe means performing processing against abnormal conditions through judgement when a differential value of control signal output from a steering angle control means exceeds a specified level. CONSTITUTION:In a controller 20 which outputs front and rear wheel control signals deltaf, deltar to oil pressure valves 15, 16 controlling respective angles of the front and real wheels through operation of optimum steering control quantity by means of the speed, steering angle and the like of a vehicle, a fail safe (FS) circuit 28 is provided for detecting abnormal conditions of the signals deltaf, deltar. This circuit 28 is composed of a first FS circuit 281 detecting abnormality when the signals deltaf, deltar is deviated from a signal value of a specified allowable area, and a second FS circuit 282 judging abnormality when the differential values of the signals deltaf, deltar exceeds a specified value. An abnormal signal F is output from an OR circuit 283 when an H signal is output from one of the circuits to perform processing against the abnormal conditions.
