titleOfInvention | Amide-imide copolymer and preparation thereof |
abstract | PURPOSE: To prepare amide-imide copolymers sperior in tenaceous, very stable, hydrolysis-resistant and transparency, and usable as constructual materials by mixing diaryl dicarboxylic ester with plural diamines and tetracarboxylic dianhydride, and polymerizing them under heating. n CONSTITUTION: The copolymer of formula V, wherein unit A constitutes 1 to 99 wt.% of copolymer; unit B constitutes 99 to 1 wt.% of copolymer; x, y and z are integral numbers of from 1 to 100,000, is prepared by heating a mixture of one or more kind of dicarboxylic esters of formula I, wherein Ar 3 represents a (substrated) monocyclic or bicyclic aryl group; E represents a (substrated) alkylene group having 2 to 30 carbon atoms, etc., primary diamine and/or secondary diamines of formula II, wherein G represents a (substrated) alkyl or alkylene group, etc.; R represents hydrogen, alkyl, group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, diamines of formula III and one or more kinds of tetracarboxylic dianhydride of formula IV, wherein W represents a tatra (substrated) aromatic mono- or poly carbocyclic group. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO |
