titleOfInvention Amide-etheramide copolymer and preparation thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare amide-etheramide copolymers as heatstable hot-melt adhesive agents by heating a mixture of diaryl dicarboxylic ester and amino terminated polyether glycole, and after the reaction, adding diamines, and heating at a specified temperature and polymerizing them. n CONSTITUTION: The copolymer of formula IV, wherein unit A constitutes 40 to 95 wt.% of block copolymer; unit B constitutes 60 to 5 wt.% of block copolymer; x, y and z are integral numbers of from 1 to 500, is prepared by heating a mixture of one or more kind of dicarboxylic ester in a large excess and amino-polyether glycole of formula II, wherein Q represents an alkylene group having 2 to 15 carbon atoms, etc.; R 2 represents hydrogen, an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; n is an integral number of 2 to 500, adding an amine of formula III, wherein G represents a substrated alkylene having 2 to 30 carbon atoms and aryl group, to the reaction mixture and heating the mixture at the temperature at which homogeneous melt is formed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
