titleOfInvention Production of superconductor thin film
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title thin film of Sr(Ba)-RE-CuO base with high transition temperature giving high adhesive force at low temperatures, by vaporizing the chelate compounds of respective raw materials in a vacuum chamber, ionizing the resultant vapor with a plasma followed by applying an electric field on the resulting ionized vapor to effect acceleration. n CONSTITUTION: Respective chelate compounds of Sr(Ba), Cu and L (rare earth element) as the heating vaporization sources 12, 13, 14 are put in a vacuum chamber 11 kept under a vacuum of 10 -2 to 10 -4 Torr (L is one of Y, La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu). Said chelate compounds are e.g., acetylacetone complexes, dipivaloylmethane complexes or the like. Thence, the respective chelate compounds are heated vaporized while feeding oxygen from an oxygen feed source 15, and a high frequency current is passed through a coil to generated a plasma, with which the gas produced is ionized, and the resulting ions are accelerated towards a substrate by application of an electric field between the substrate 21 and said vaporization sources, thus producing the objective superconductor thin film of the formula L 1 M 2 Cu 3 O 7-y (M is Ba or Sr; y is 0.1W0.3) on the substrate. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
