titleOfInvention Production of polyurethane foam molding
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain foam moldings having a surface skin extremely hard and high in density, by in-mold foaming of a mixture comprising a specified polyisocyanate component, a specified organic polyhydroxyl compound, a specified blowing agent, a specified catalyst and a specified adsorbent. n CONSTITUTION: The rigid polyurethane foam moldings which are free of fluorocarbon and has a gross density of at least 300 kg/m 3 are produced by in-mold foaming of a reaction mixture comprising (a) a polyisocyanate component containing aromatic polyisocyanate, (b) an organic polyhydroxyl compound having a (average) hydroxyl functional value of at least 2.2 and (average) OH value of at least 300 mgKOH/g, (c) a blowing agent containing water and/or carbon dioxide, (d) a catalyst for the reaction of isocyanate with hydroxyl group and (e) a zeolitic adsorbent having a pore diamiter of at least 0.7 nm. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
