titleOfInvention | Production of fluorine-containing ester compound |
abstract | PURPOSE: To contrive optical activation in a short time, higher purity and yield under mild conditions, by subjecting a specific compound to ester interchange reaction in the presence of an enzyme in an organic phase. n CONSTITUTION: A compound expressed by formula I [R 1 is ≤20C (un)substituted alkylene; R 2 and R 3 are (un)substituted alkyl or cycloalkyl (provided that at least one of R 2 and R 3 is a group without any symmetry plane); R 4 is (un) substituted alkyl or cycloalkyl; R f is fluorine-containing alkyl] is mixed with a compound expressed by formula II or III and dissolved in an organic solvent, such as benzene, to provide a substrate solution. A lipase, derived from a microorganism of the genus Alcaligenes, etc., in an amount of 10W100000 units based on 1 g substrate and having ≥100000 molecular weight is added to carry out ester interchange reaction at 0W50°C. An optically active fluorine-containing ester compound, expressed by formula IV and formed in the reaction solution is then separated and collected. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
