titleOfInvention | Fluid heating heater |
abstract | PURPOSE: To enable uniform heating and high temperature heating of a large quantity of fluid by forming a three dimensional skeleton structural body having a given percentage of void and mean pore diameter with a carbon base material. n CONSTITUTION: A base material is coated with carbon preferably SiC, and a temperature rise to high temperatures and long hour use is possible. A three dimensional skeleton structural body is formed where a porous and soft urethane having three dimensional skeleton structure is adhered with e.g., furfuryl alcohol polymerized articles, then made polycondensation to be hardened, and sintered at 950°C in a non-oxidation atmosphere. The percentage of void is made 90% or more for ensuring the contact surface area with fluid and below 99 % for maintaining strength. The mean pore diameter is made more than 0.1mm for ensuring the flow of fluid and below 5mm for maintaining strength. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
