titleOfInvention Spherical powdery adhesive and its preparation
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title adhesive having excellent adhesive power, handleability, etc., by incorporating a specified organosilicon compound into the surface of a spherical particle comprising a mixture of an epoxy compound having a plurality of epoxy groups with a latent curing agent. n CONSTITUTION: An epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups in the molecule (e.g., bisphenol A epoxy resin) is mixed with a latent curing agent (e.g., polyvinylphenol), and this mixture is suspended in water to form a spherical powder. An organosilicon compound of the formula (wherein R is alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, vinyl, amino, epoxy, etc.; X is methoxy, ethoxy, methoxyethoxy, etc.; n is 0, 1 or 2) (e.g., methyltrimethoxysilane) is incorporated into the surface of this spherical powder to give a spherical powdery adhesive suitable as, e.g., an adhesive for electronic material. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
