abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the title compounds which are used as an intermediate of a physiologically active substance such as medicament, or a starting substance for a curing agent for epoxy resins by reaction of a readily available olefin with a nitrile using an organotellurinyl compound as a mediate. n CONSTITUTION: An olefin is allowed to react with an equimolar or a little excessive amount of a nitrile such as hydrogen cyanide or acetonitrile, based on every double bond, using an organotellurinyl compound of the formula (Aris aryl; R is alkyl, halogen-substituted alkyl) as a mediator, in the presence of a Lewis acid at 50W90°C, preferably 60W80°C. The amount of the Lewis acid is equimolar or more, preferably 1.1W1.5 mole per mole of the double bonds in the olefin, while the mediator is more than 0.5 mole, preferably more than 0.55 mole. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
