| abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the title compounds which are used as an intermediate of a physiologically active substance such as medicament, or a starting substance for a curing agent for epoxy resins by reaction of a readily available olefin with a nitrile using an organotellurinyl compound as a mediate. n CONSTITUTION: An olefin is allowed to react with an equimolar or a little excessive amount of a nitrile such as hydrogen cyanide or acetonitrile, based on every double bond, using an organotellurinyl compound of the formula (Aris aryl; R is alkyl, halogen-substituted alkyl) as a mediator, in the presence of a Lewis acid at 50W90°C, preferably 60W80°C.
