titleOfInvention Reinforcing of foam
abstract PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of production, by coating the surface of a PS foam with a specified curable composition and curing this composition. n CONSTITUTION: A curable composition is obtained by mixing 100pts.wt. at least one curable oligomer selected from among an unsaturated polyester, an epoxy acrylate, a urethane acrylate and a polyenepolythiol with, optionally, at most 200pts.wt. polymerizable (meth)acrylate monomer (e.g., trimethylolpropane), a polymerization inhibitor (e.g., p-t-butylcatechol), an organic peroxide curing agent, a thixotropic agent, a filler, etc. The surface of a PS foam of an expansion ratio of 5W60 is coated with said composition, and this composition is cured by heating. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
