abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition, containing an agricultural chemical active ingredient sparingly soluble in water, bentonite mineral substance, heteropolysaccharide gum and preferably further hydrocarbon solvent with a high hydrocarbon content of methane series, having a low viscosity and capable of holding stable properties for a long period. n CONSTITUTION: The title composition obtained by suspending or dissolving (A) 10W60wt.% agricultural chemical ingredient (e.g., germicide, insecticide, acaricide or herbicide) sparingly soluble in water, (B) 0.01W5wt.% bentonite mineral substance (e.g., sodium montmorillonite) and (C) 0.01W5wt.% heteropolysaccharide gum (e.g., xanthan gum) in an aqueous solvent or blending 5W20wt.% hydrocarbon solvent with ≥90wt.% 9W17C hydrocarbon content of methane series with the ingredients (A)W(C) and suspending the resultant blend in the aqueous solvent.
