abstract PURPOSE: To eliminate initial coloring and improve color fastness by compounding a chlorinated thermoplastic resin, thiodiethyleneglycol bis-(acetoacetate), 2-kinds of specific stabilizers, an epoxidized unsaturated fatty acid ester and an organic plasticizer. n CONSTITUTION: This composition is obtained by blending (A) a chlorinated thermoplastic resin (e.g. PVC):100 wt.parts, (B) thioethyleneglycol bis-(acetoacetate) shown by the formula of (H 2 CCOCH 2 COOCH 2 CH 2 ) 2 S:0.7-2 parts; and as stabilizers (C) Ca, Ba, and/or Mg salts of 8-24C aliphatic monocarboxylic acid, 8-24C hydroxy monocarboxylic acid, benzoic acid or tert- butyl benzoic acid: 0-0.5 parts, (D) a Zn salt of 8-24C aliphatic monocarboxylic acid, 8-24C aliphatic hydroxy monocarboxylic acid, benzoic acid or tert-butyl benzoic acid: 0.01-0.2 parts, (E) an epoxidized unsaturated fatty acid ester (e.g. epoxidized soybean oil: 3-10 parts, (F) an organic plasticizer (e.g. dimethyl phthalate): 10-70 parts. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
