abstract PURPOSE: To economically obtain the title porous article capable of readily purifying and useful for medical such as plasma separation without causing pollution, by using a solution substantially consisting of cellulose and aqueous solution of alkali metal oxide. n CONSTITUTION: A solution substantially consisting of (A) cellulose and (B) aqueous solution of alkali metal oxide is gelled and successively the resultant gell dope is strongly stirred to change the gell dope to liquid dope, which is formed into film or hollow fiber and the resultant formed product is solidified in (C) an aqueous solution containing at least one kind of compound of water, acid, base and salt to provide the aimed porous article. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
