abstract PURPOSE:To provide a polyester block copolymer composition composed of a polyester block copolymer, polytetramethylene terephthalate, an epoxy compound and a trivalent phosphorus compound and having excellent heat-resistance, hydrolysis resistance and impact resistance. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a resin composition composed of (A1) 5-95 pts.wt. of a polyester block copolymer produced by reacting a crystalline aromatic polyester with a lactone (preferably epsilon-caprolactone) and (A2) 95-5 pts.wt. of a polyester containing >=80mol% of tetramethylene terephthalate unit with (B) 0.2-10wt.%, preferably 0.5-4wt.% of a >=1-functional epoxy compound (preferably methyl glycidyl ether, etc.) having an epoxy value of preferably 0.9-1.4equivalent/kg and (C) a trivalent phosphorus compound (e.g., tributyl phosphine) as a catalyst.
