titleOfInvention Production of alpha-acyloxy-alpha,beta-unsaturated carbonyl compound
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title compound useful in fields of perfume, medicine, chemicals, etc., and being also synthetic intermediate therefor in high selectivity, by bringing a propagyl ester used as a starting raw material into contact with a catalyst in the presence of oxygen and/or peroxide. n CONSTITUTION: A propagyl ester expressed by formula I (R 1 , R 2 and R 4 are H or hydrocarbon residue which may be substituted; R 3 is hydrocarbon residue which may have substituent group; R 1 , R 2 and R 4 may form a ring in each arbitrary combination) and used as a starting raw material is brought into contact with a metal compound catalyst (preferably divalent palladium halide of platinum group is used), further preferably together with a promoter of copper compound in the presence of oxygen and/or peroxide at ≥0°C, preferably 20W100°C to provide the compound expressed by formula II (wave line may be either one of E isomer and Z isomer in steric configuration). Furthermore, partial pressure of oxygen is normally 0.1W1atom. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
