NEW MATERIAL: A compd. of the formula [wherein R 1 is H, (phenyl substd.) 1-6C alkyl, (substd.) 2-6C alkanoyl, 4-6C cycloalkoxycarbonyl, etc.; A 1 is a direct bond to A 2 , Gly, Arg, etc.; A 2 is a direct bond to A 3 , Gly, Pro, etc.; A 3 is a direct bond to A 4 , Lys, etc.; A 4 is His, etc.; A b is Trp, etc.; A 6 is Ala, etc.; A 7 is Val, etc.; A 8 is Gly, etc.; A 9 is His, etc.; Q is A 10 .R 2 (in which A 10 is Leu, etc.; R 2 is OH, amino, etc.), phenyl-1-3C alkylamino, etc.]. n USE: The compd. is useful as a therapeutic drug for diseases arranged by bombesin or bombesin-like peptide. n PROCESS: An amide linkage for bonding polyamide having a carboxylic group or its reactive deriv. on one end and an amino group on the other end is formed in such a way that polypeptide having the chain of the formula is obtained, and then if necessary a protecting group is removed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO |
