titleOfInvention Perijinine-chlorophyll complex as fluorescent label
abstract PURPOSE: To achieve measurement with a high specifical property and a high sensitivity by using perijinine-chlorophyll protein complex that is bound to one element of a pair of specification combinations that are mutually and specifically bound as a fluorescent label. n CONSTITUTION: Sea water at a red tide area is filtered and a granular substance is collected, thus obtaining a biflagellum seaweed. The seaweed is agitated and broken under the presence of glass beads and a skin is separated by a centrifugal treatment. Ammonium sulfate solution is added to the suspension liquid for precipitation a large part of non-perijinine-chlorophyll protein and the precipitation is eliminated by the centrifugal treatment. The skin is dialyzed and is condensed by filtering and a pure perijinine-chlorophyll protein(PerCP) is obtained by gel filtration. The PerCP can be used for fluorescent dyeing of cells and labeling ligand or receptor and for immunity examination. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
