abstract |
PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having high sensitivity and low residual potential by using an alpha-type titanyl phthalocyanine compsn. as a charge generating material and a charge transfer material having a specified degree of oxidation potential. CONSTITUTION:The title electrophotographic sensitive body is constituted of an electroconductive base material and a photosensitive layer formed thereon. In this material, it is necessary that a charge is injected into a charge transfer material and that the injected charge causes hopping conduction through the charge transfer molecules in order to transport the charge generated from a charge generating material. An alpha-type titanyl phthalocyanine compsn. as a charge generating material and a charge transport material having 0.45-0.65eV oxidation potential are used together. Said charge transfer material is most suitable as the charge transfer material to be used in combination with the charge generating material. Thus, an electrophotographic sensitive body having high sensitivity and low residual potential is obtd. |
