titleOfInvention Mushroom cultivation
abstract PURPOSE: To shorten the cultivation period, and increase the yield of mushroom by adding glucosamine to the culture medium of mushrooms. n CONSTITUTION: The glucosamine is preferably used in the form of an inorganic acid salt such as hydrochloride. Known cultivation medium may be used such as saw dust, and the amount of glucosamine is 0.3W1.0 wt.%. Glucosamine can be added any time, for example, in the preparation of the culture medium or in the stage of mycelium growth. The yield and the quality of the mushroom are improved by cultivating mushrooms in this culture medium. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
