NEW MATERIAL: A compd. of formula I [R 1 is a group of formula II (R 3 is phenyl, monosubstd. phenyl, a cyclohexadienyl of formula III), formula IV [R 4 O- sym-position, R 4 is -CH 3 , -CH 2 COOH, -C(CH 3 ) 2 COOH]; R 2 is a 1 to 4C alkyl, phenyl] or its salt. n EXAMPLE: 7-Cyclohexadienylaminoacetoamide-3-isopropenyl-3-cephem-4- diphenylmethyl carboxylate. n USE: An oral antibiotic exhibiting broad antibiotic activity to gram-negative bacteria. n PROCESS: A compd. expressed by formula V (carboxyl is a protected form) is reacted with a reactive deriv. compd. expressed by formula VI or formula VII (amino may be protected) and thereafter, the protecting group is removed. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO |
