titleOfInvention Cosmetic use of derivative of amino acid mixture derivative derived from hydrolysis of proline, hydroxyproline and/or collagen
abstract PURPOSE: To use an N-acetyl or an N-propionyl derivative of an amino acid mixture derived by the hydrolysis of proline, hydroxyproline and/or collagen and a metallic salt or an organic base salt thereof as a cosmetic. n CONSTITUTION: This cosmetic composition comprises 0.1-20wt.% (preferably 0.5-10wt.%) of an N-acetyl or an N-propionyl derivative of an amino acid mixture obtained by the hydrolysis of proline, hydroxyproline and/or collagen and a metallic salt or an organic base salt thereof. The compound has stability with time, dermal permeability and further a remarkable oxidation-reduction ability of dermal cells without any unpleasant odor and is capable of retaining elasticity of the skin. A cream, a milk lotion, an aerosol, a gel, a stick, an oil, an emulsion, a soap, a water-based or a hydroalcoholic lotion is adopted as the form of the cosmetic composition. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
