abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a film whose shrink packaging finishing is favorable, by a method wherein the title film is constituted of only crystalline polyester, a thermal shrinkage factor of a stretched direction and that meeting at right angles with the stretched direction are decided to fall within a specific range and a calorific value for cold crystallization is made a specific value or more. CONSTITUTION:Polyethylene terephthalate whose acidic constituent is terephthalic acid, and glycolic constituent is ethylene glycol, or a copolymer whose acidic constituent is comprised of the terephthalic acid and the other acidic constituent is used for crystalline polyester of raw material resin. Then an antioxidant, an antistatic agent and the other additives are added appropriately at need, which is melted, extruded at 330 deg.C or lower as raw materials, cooled and an unstretched film is obtained. Then the same is stretched 1.5-3.5 times unidirectionally at a range of a stretching temperature Tg-110 deg.C and a dimensional change of the stretched film meeting at right angles with the unidirection is controlled so that the dimensional change falls within a range of 0.8-1.2 times. A heat-shrinkable polyester film whose heat shrinkage factor of either longitudinal or lateral direction at 70 deg.C is 10% or higher, heat shrinkage factor meeting at right angles with the direction is within + or -5% at 120 deg.C and calorific value for cold crystallization is 17.0mjoul/mg or higher is formed. |
