abstract PURPOSE:To intend to reduce a cycle time and running costs by using a detachable mold covering member composed of well-releasable material in the inner surface of a mold, setting an insert part in the mold, injecting a resin foaming stock solution in it, expanding and solidifying said resin foaming stock solution. CONSTITUTION:A mold covering member 3 composed of well-releasable polyethylene, polypropylene or the like is made to be detachably attached on the inner surface of a movable mold 2 by means of a suction pipe 2a prepared in a movable mold 2. An insert part b is beforehand set on the mold covering member 3 through a holding member 3a, said mold covering member 3 is set on the inner face of the movable mold 2 and a skin (a) is set on a fixed mold 1, then the movable mold 2 is cramped by lowering the movable mold 2 and in this state urethane stock solution mixed with a foaming agent is injected into the mold to expand and solidify, a foamed urethane resin layer c is formed on the backside of the skin a and the insert part b is molded in a resin layer c. The mold covering member composed of well-releasable material is smoothly released from a molded product and the insert part breaks away from the mold covering member and is left in the molded product.
