titleOfInvention Manufacture of lactam polymer and copolymer
abstract PURPOSE: To produce the (co)polymer with excellent stability by polymerizing a lactam of ≥7-ring in the presence of a lactam N-substituent derivative and a suitable initiator. n CONSTITUTION: The lactam of ≥7-ring is polymerized in the presence of an N-substituent derivative produced by a residue of an organic or inorganic acid condensed with an amide group such as acyl, allyl sulfonyl or phosphoryl of the same or other lactam, a cationic initiator such as protonic acid or Lewis acid or an initiator composed on a compound reacting a lactam to release an acid such as an acylation agent, 0.1-10 mole % of anhydride of an organic or inorganic acid, and a derivative of oxygen containing acid such as halogenide at ≥260°C for several hours. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
