abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a thermosetting crosslinked resin having excellent heat resistance, being tough and having small water absorption, by reacting a bis (2-oxazoline) compd., a specified arom. amine and an epoxy compd. n CONSTITUTION: A crosslinked resin is obtd. by reacting a bis (2-oxazoline) compd. (a) of the formula (wherein R is a carbon-carbon bond or a bivalent hydrocarbon group; R 1W4 are each H, alkyl or aryl) [e.g., 1,3-bis(2-oxazoiln-2-yl) benzene], a mono- or poly-cyclic arom. amine (b) having two or more amino groups in its molecule (e.g., 4,4-methylenebis(aniline) and an epoxy compd. (c) having two or more epoxy groups in its molecule, whose amt. is 1mol or less based on 1mol of the component (b) and which satisfies a relation, [number of oxazoline rings of the component (a)]+[number of epoxy groups of the component (c)]≥[number of amino groups of the component (b)] (e.g., bisphenol A diglycidyl ether), if necessary, in the presence of an oxazoline ring opening polymn. catalyst at 80°C or higher, pref. 100W200°C for 1minW2hr. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
