titleOfInvention | Polyester film having good slipperiness |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester film having good slipperiness, consisting of a liquid crystal polyester and nonliquid crystal polyester, obtained by drawing at least in the monoaxial direction and suitable as a bass film for magnetic recording media. n CONSTITUTION: The aimed film obtained by drawing a film consisting of (A) 8W0.01pts.wt. copolyester modified with 29.4W43mol.%, preferably 30W7W38mol.% p-hydroxybenzoic acid and capable of forming anisotropic melt, preferably copolyester obtained by modifying a copolymer of polyethylene terephthalate, etc., and a nonlinear dicarboxylic acid (e.g., isophthalic acid) or a nonlinear diol component (e.g., bisphenol A) with p-hydroxybenzoic acid and (B) 92W99.99pts.wt. polyester capable of forming isotropic melt (preferably polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate) in at least monoaxial direction at draw ratio of 1.5 times. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio |
