titleOfInvention Novel polyimide precursor
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title precursor which shows low crystallizability and excellent stretchability during heat stretching, by reacting a specified acid component with a specified aromatic diamine component. n CONSTITUTION: An acid component containing at least 80mol% compound (A) of formula I or II [wherein R 1W2 are each a 1W18 C aliphatic hydrocarbon group (derivative), a 6W18 C aromatic hydrocarbon residue (derivative), a 6W18 C aliphatic hydrocarbon residue (derivative), and Ar is an aromatic tetracarboxylic acid residue] is reacted with an aromatic diamine component (B) having bonds for chain extension which are coaxial, nearly coaxial or parallel with each other or extend in opposite directions and forming preferably a rigid or similar skeleton in the presence of, optionally, an acid acceptor in a polar solvent to obtain the title precursor in which units of formula III (wherein Ar' is an aromatic diamine residue) and units of formula IV, in an amount to give a molar ratio formula III/formula IV of 80W20/20W80, account for at least 80mol% of the total repeating units. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
