titleOfInvention Production of polyol fatty acid ester
abstract PURPOSE: To produce a high-purity polyol ester of a fatty acid in high yield, by reacting a partial ester of a polyol with a branched fatty acid and a straight- chainlike fatty acid (lower alcohol ester) in the presence of a lipase. n CONSTITUTION: A partial ester of a polyol (e.g. ethylene glycol) with a branched fatty acid (e.g. 2-ethylhexanoic acid) is reacted with a straight-chainlike fatty acid (lower alcohol ester) (e.g. valeric acid) in the presence of a lipase (e.g. Rhizopus.delemar) derived from the genus Rhizopus, Aspergillus, Mucor, Geotrichum, Pseudomonas, Penicillium, Chromobacterium, Candida, Achromobac ter or Alcaligenes in the presence (absence) of an organic solvent other than primary alcohols at 10W90°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
