abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silica-blended resin composition containing a silica sol dispersed in a nitrogen-containing solvent and a polymer containing a nitrogen atom, particularly an insulating resin composition. SOLUTION: A silica sol in which silica particles having an average primary particle diameter of 5 to 100 nm containing aluminum atoms are dispersed in a nitrogen-containing solvent, and the ratio of aluminum atoms on the surface of the silica particles is 800 to 10000 ppm / SiO 2 in terms of Al 2 O 3 . The above silica sol bonded in. The silica particles are those to which a silane compound or a hydrolyzate thereof is bound. The nitrogen-containing solvent is an amide-based solvent. The nitrogen-containing solvent is dimethylacetamide, dimethylformamide, N-methylpyrrolidone, or N-ethylpyrrolidone. An insulating resin composition containing the silica sol and a nitrogen-containing polymer. The nitrogen-containing polymer is polyimide, polyamide, polyamic acid, polyamideimide, polyetherimide, or polyesterimide.
