abstract 【Task】 Provided are a composition for molding a sand mold having excellent foamability and an additive for molding a sand mold capable of obtaining a sand mold having excellent moisture resistance. SOLUTION: The sand mold molding additive contains the inorganic alkali metal compound (B) in a ratio of 0.01 to 2.00 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the ionic surfactant (A).
