abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood-derived growth factor-containing composition and a method for preparing the blood-derived growth factor-containing composition, which are more effective for wound healing and tissue regeneration. One embodiment of the present invention is a method of preparing a blood-derived growth factor-containing composition from mammalian blood. The method includes a step of adding an anticoagulant capable of forming a chelate complex with a metal ion to the blood, and a step of separating platelet-rich plasma containing a buffy coat component from the blood to which the anticoagulant is added.
