abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating high-protein wastewater to generate methane, which can reduce operating costs, do not add chemicals in a treatment process, and avoid secondary contamination from a source. SOLUTION: The apparatus provides an apparatus for pretreating protein wastewater by microwaves including a microwave pretreatment apparatus 10 and an anaerobic digest apparatus 20 sequentially connected in series to generate methane by anaerobic digestion. By controlling the flow rate of the inlet, the residence time of the protein wastewater in the microwave pretreatment device is controlled, and by adjusting the output of the microwave pretreatment device equivalently, the protein wastewater that has entered the anaerobic digestor is controlled.
