abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet reflective material capable of satisfactorily reflecting ultraviolet rays, which has an effect of enhancing an indoor sterilizing effect by being applied to a wall surface of an artificial dialysis room. SOLUTION: In an ultraviolet reflective material containing slaked lime, calcium carbonate and a thickener as main components, the ratio of calcium carbonate is at least 50 [%] or more, and the average particle size of calcium carbonate is 6.0 [. By setting the value to μm or less, the average reflectance can be made sufficiently high in the ultraviolet wavelength region containing UV-C (240-280 [nm]), which is said to have a high bactericidal effect.
