abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-restoring coating composition and a self-restoring coating film capable of achieving both good scratch resistance and good repairability. A self-restoring coating composition according to the present embodiment is a two-component system containing a main agent containing a hydroxyl group-containing resin and a curing agent, and the hydroxyl group-containing resin is a first resin containing an acrylic polyol and a first resin. The two resins contain a polycarbonate resin or a polyester resin, and the content ratio of the first resin is 86 to 94% by mass, and the acrylic polyol has a theoretical hydroxyl value of 90 to 130 mgKOH / g. It also contains hydroxyethyl (meth) acrylate and caprolactone-modified hydroxyethyl (meth) acrylate having a modification number of 2 to 3 mol, and has the hydroxyl value of hydroxyethyl (meth) acrylate and the hydroxyl group of caprolactone-modified hydroxyethyl (meth) acrylate.
