titleOfInvention | Reusable tampon applicator and manufacturing method thereof |
abstract | Disclosed are a reusable tampon applicator, method of use, and method of manufacture. The reusable tampon applicator includes a cylindrical body and a pusher for pushing the tampon through the cylindrical body during tampon installation. The cylindrical body includes a bottom opening at the distal end for inserting the tampon into a straight tube connected to a convex tip at the proximal end. The convex tip includes a slit opening for passage of the tampon during tampon installation. The slit opening extends from the proximal end to the distal end to form a complete slit on the first side of the cylindrical body; the slit opening is further from the proximal end toward the distal end. Extend and form a partial slit on the second side. Such reusable tampon applicators provide a hygienic and environmentally friendly alternative to disposable tampon applicators.
