Conventionally, alumina is often used as an inorganic filler, and spinel, which has been known to have lower thermal conductivity than alumina, is jewelry, fluorescent light emitter, catalyst carrier, adsorbent, photocatalyst, heat-resistant insulating material. The use as a heat conductive inorganic filler was not assumed. Then, an object of this invention is to provide the spinel particle which is excellent in thermal conductivity. A spinel particle containing a magnesium atom, an aluminum atom, an oxygen atom, and molybdenum, and having a [111] plane crystallite diameter of 220 nm or more. |
