A microporous polyolefin resin that cools a sheet by discharging a solution in which a polyolefin resin and a diluent are mixed from the die to the cooling and solidifying device in a sheet shape while sucking air between the sheet and the cooling and solidifying device in a suction chamber. In the sheet manufacturing method, dripping of a polymer low molecular weight component, a diluent, or a liquefied additive added to a current plate arranged in a decompression chamber is prevented, thereby preventing occurrence of a sheet defect. A base for discharging a solution in which a polyolefin resin and a diluent are mixed into a sheet, a cooling and solidifying device for cooling the sheet discharged from the base, and for sucking air between the sheet and the cooling and solidifying device Using a microporous polyolefin resin sheet manufacturing apparatus equipped with a decompression chamber, a rectifying plate is placed inside the decompression chamber, and the pressure inside the rectifying plate is reduced by sucking the inside of the decompression chamber and the inside of the rectifying plate, respectively. By maintaining the pressure lower than the pressure in the chamber, the polymer low molecular weight component, diluent, and liquefied additive added to the current plate are forcibly removed by suction into the current plate.
