titleOfInvention Secondary battery using hydroxide ion conductive ceramic separator
abstract A secondary battery using a hydroxide ion conductive ceramic separator is provided. This secondary battery has a positive electrode, a negative electrode, an alkaline electrolyte, a ceramic separator made of an inorganic solid electrolyte body that has a hydroxide ion conductivity and that separates the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and at least one surface of the ceramic separator. It is provided with a porous substrate provided, and at least a negative electrode and a container containing an alkaline electrolyte, and is in the form of a film or a layer formed by densification so that the inorganic solid electrolyte body does not have water permeability, The thickness of the porous substrate is 100 to 1800 μm. According to the secondary battery of the present invention, it is possible to desirably suppress the decrease in energy density and the increase in internal resistance while realizing the reduction in resistance by reducing the thickness of the ceramic separator without causing the concern about the decrease in strength.
