abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing repair method capable of repairing holes, cracks, etc. caused by corrosion in a casing easily, in a short time and at low cost. SOLUTION: An abutting plate 12 is provided on the inner surface side of the casing 6 so as to block the entire repair target portion 9, and a countersunk portion 14a in a truncated cone shape space provided on the abutting plate 12 from the inner surface side of the casing 6. A countersunk bolt 17 comprising a countersunk head portion 17a and a shaft-like screw portion 17b is inserted into each of the plurality of bolt holes 14 serving as a bolt insertion portion 14b in a cylindrical space communicating with the bottom of the counterbore portion 14a. It is inserted and the peripheral surface of the head 17a of the countersunk bolt 17 is brought into contact with the inner surface of the counterbore part 14a, and the upper surface of the head 17a is flush with the surface of the contact plate 12, and the threaded part of the countersunk bolt 17 17b is inserted into the bolt insertion portion 14b, penetrated through the casing 6 and protruded toward the outer surface side of the casing 6, and a nut 18 is tightened on the threaded portion 17b of the countersunk bolt 17 protruding toward the outer surface side of the casing 6.
