titleOfInvention | Image forming apparatus, carrier, toner and developer used therefor |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fog due to deterioration in a low temperature and low humidity environment as well as to achieve a long developer life while maintaining a high-reliability image, by using a toner having highly controlled charging characteristics, a development system with little carrier spent and a developer, and highly controlling the fluidity of the toner and developer, and to provide a toner capable of preventing reduction in scooping amount of a developer and good in the following property of a solid image, a carrier and an image forming apparatus capable of printing a high-quality image using this developer.
SOLUTION: The toner contains at least a resin, a colorant and a metal salicylate as a charge control agent, wherein a content of a metal element originating in the charge control agent in a toner base particle surface freed of an external additive of the toner is 0.1-1.0 atomic% based on all compositional elements of the surface as measured by XPS (photoelectron spectroscopy).
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
