abstract | <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified graft copolymer having a sufficiently long polyolefin chain length, and a high modification rate. <P>SOLUTION: The modified graft copolymer is obtained by modifying a functional group of a graft polymer satisfying the following conditions (a) to (e), and has a functional side chain obtained by the reaction of the functional group: (a) having 1-150 mass% graft rate; (b) having 500-400,000 weight average molecular weight measured by a GPC; (c) having 1.5-4 molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn); (d) having a main chain of a polymer chain containing a monomer unit having a functional group; and (e) having a side chain of a polymer chain which is either one of a homopolymer chain of one kind selected from 3-28C α-olefins or a copolymer chain of two or more kinds selected therefrom, and a copolymer chain comprising a 3-28C α-olefin unit and an ethylene unit wherein the content of the ethylene unit is ≤50 mass%, and in which the mesopentad fraction [mmmm] is 30-80 mol%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
